It’s a common story for Canadian parents to diligently stash away money for their kids’ education. But while tuition has not risen much, the RESP’s purchasing power is declining sharply in the face of soaring rents in markets large and small across the country – not to mention 7-per-cent inflation, which has made everything from groceries to gas more expensive.
